Ok time in Texas

Well it would be a great time but unfortunately some of my DH family was very ill and still decided to come thereby making almost everyone else sick, which in turn means we didn't do anything I wanted to do the entire time.

I already told DH next time we don't tell a soul we are coming thereby doing the things we want to get done before we tell anyone we are in town.

Sunny Texas

We've been in Texas for 3 days now and I'm loving the weather so much, I'm not sure I want to leave!

Today we are off to the farmers market, I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

We are done Christmas shopping and just need to wrap presents.

A Few more days

We are on the final stretch of our days before our trip and we are all excited to get out of dodge so to speak. I'm just looking forward to the things we plan on doing. So much fun can be had and it's just a few days away..

6 days

6 more work days then I'm off for vacation!! It should have been only 5 but I picked up an extra day for the OT..

Today I start our packing list while on my breaks at work.

Thursday we clean our house from top to bottom then we enjoy our time off until we leave the following week.

My niece is staying at our house with her family while we are gone and I'm very grateful for that..

Getting Ready

We are slowly getting ready to leave for our trip to Texas!! I've been house cleaning like crazy so our house sitters have a spotless house. Unfortunately my vacuum died so I just bought a new one. I had a Dyson that I loved, but I bought a Shark Navigator I was dying to try it out and wow so far I'm just loving it..

Work and then play

We'll we both have to work the next three days for DH and two days for me. Then we are off for 5 days but well the weather has decided to be it's usual self and it's very, very blustery here. As in wind gusts to 100 mph and rain pouring down side ways..

Oh, by the way, if I haven't said it before. It always rains here, well at least 8 months out of the year!

We don't have any plans other then a major house clean, we need to do before we leave next month. Don't want my house dirty for my house sitters now do I!!!!

And, I'll be making my packing list and getting it started soon also.

There is no snow in the mountains, so we can't even think about going there right now, although since we are again on a flood warning for the local rivers, I'm not sure I'd want to go to a cabin by a river right now anyway..

Oh! and did I mention my poor DS-Y has a tooth that is coming in sideways!! Poor thing it's been hurting him badly for a few days now, but he has a dentist appointment today that DH is taking him to so we'll see what the dentist has to say!

Weekend

Well we won one game, lost the other, played on Sunday and lost so we got to spend the rest of the day at the beach. It was beautiful on Saturday, we played on the beach for along time. Unfortunately Sunday it poured but we still had a great time.

Next is Thanksgiving then we have to think about getting ready for Texas... Can't Wait!!!

Bad News

I got some bad health news yesterday and although I was surprised it won't be something that will affect me right now. I'm glad we made our bucket list and hopefully we will be able to start working on it next month when we go to Texas..

Undefeated

My DS-Y soccer team had an undefeated season, we are all so happy and proud, they played very well. Now we have tournaments and we are done for the season.

I'm signing my son up for soccer classes so Jan, Feb and March will be busy times also, plus we have spring soccer sign ups soon.

We will be going to the coast this weekend. DH can't go since he works this weekend so it will just be me, my friend, her son and my son, who are both the same age. I can't wait I'm so excited even though it will most likely pour I love the beach..

In a little over a month we will be leaving for Texas, My niece will be house sitting for us the entire time we are gone..

Coastal Things

We'll be doing some coastal visiting in a couple of weeks and although DH works and DS has soccer tournaments I've decided to book a nice hotel with a kitchen and indoor pool because well as usual it will be pouring rain that weekend and I don't want to drive over there in the rain for 2 hours. I figured at least after and before games we might be able to get some wet beach combing in and then relax in the warm pool afterward.

Finally a weekend off

So far this next weekend we don't have anything scheduled, no the down side DH works the whole weekend so we can't do anything. We only have 3 more weeks of soccer then it's over until next year....Yeah!

But the weather is it's usual self now cold and wet, with a promise of getting really colder and really wetter.

On the up side, we have vacation in December coming up...Can't wait!!

Vacation at the end of March..Can't wait!!

Haven't touched the bucket list due to soccer but we have high hopes for the future :-)

Wild Ride

Yesterday it poured, today it's mostly sunny.. What can I say, only in this state..

I'm on call so far today and really hoping to not get called in as I have a slight headache and would prefer to not work but I will if I have too.

We have all our Texas stuff ready to go, we just have to wait and pack and print off our boarding passes. I have never flown on United before so I hope its a decent flight.

I still have to find a house sitter and I'm not sure who that will be yet, might be time to post on FB to see if any of my friends know someone.

Rain

The Rain has come in with a passion!! It's pouring and windy and wet.. Typical weather this time of the year and until about July, although it's a tad warmer in June and July when it pours..

We have our tickets for Texas ready and now all we need it December to come.. We have plans to get some bucket list items done while we are down there, we either need to rent a car or borrow one and I'm pretty sure it won't just be our family who does anything, it will be my mother in law and brother in law also I'm sure they will go everywhere with us.. Which could make the drives very fun!!

I'm still pondering the going to Arizona with my friend in January, it will depend on when she decides to go since I don't want to take more vacation time before March when I'm scheduled off for a week and a half..

I really need to find my computer desk I have papers all over it that should be scanned and put away but I just don't have the umph to do it right now, maybe after a few more days of rain and wind I'll be cold and bored and ready to do it..

Time and half

Was on call this morning and got to sleep in.. Bonus!!! But got called back at 8am which was okay with me since I got to sleep in..

I'm off now for a few days and will be doing housework and soccer for the weekend..

Working

Well Both of us are in the middle of long stretches DH 6 days in a row and me 3 days in a row, going to be a rough week as we have games for soccer this weekend and then both of us back to work for long stretches again then tournaments all weekend again then work long stretches of days again but we are winding down in soccer and only have 4 games left, not including the tournament weekend..

A friend asked if I wanted to run a 5k in Phoenix or Las Vegas in January I'm seriously considering it and I'm going to try to get DH to do it also..

In First Place

Well my DS soccer team is in first place now since we beat the only other team who hadn't lost any games, now we just need to keep it up. We have three games left to go..

We also have a tournament all next weekend, which I was told expect to be there all day both days, so much for having any days off, oh and did I mention that it's supposed to rain and be cold by then, well if not consider yourself warned I hate the rain and cold.

Cold, Clear Day

It's very cold and clear today but I do see that is going to change in about a week with our return to normal rainy, cool weather, I was hoping for the rest of the month to at least get some of my bucket list done but it looks like I need to address my winter bucket list items now..

DH is working for 5 more days and we have soccer today so that leaves this weekend out for sure..

I need to buy our plane tickets for our Christmas vacation and I need to start looking into vacation plans for our trip to Hawaii in March-April for our 10 year anniversary.

I'd like to take a short trip somewhere warm in January or February but I don't want to take DS out of school more then necessary, maybe we can fit in a Friday night, Saturday, Sunday trip so I need to keep my eyes open for a quick weekend getaway..

Friday!!

I have done nothing today, Nada, Zilch... B U T, I do plan to get something done, like grocery shopping and finishing the laundry..

The weather is so much colder at night now, it's still sunny during the day but it's cool and sunny I'm not sure how much more sun we'll be getting since we usually have copious amounts of rain this time of the year..  I personally am hoping for two more weeks since we have a weekend off then and can get some hiking done.

Life and Stuff

Yesterday I worked and boy was it busy.. Today I was put on call which I did request, I'm happy to be off and if I have to go in to work so be it since I'm off the next three days it's okay with me..

If I don't go to work I'm going to work on my to do list as laundry has piled up again and needs to be put away. I'm slowly, very slowly getting my to do list whittled down and although the weather is absolutely beautiful, meaning cool and clear days here I'm wishing I could go hiking but alas we have soccer every weekend. I'll be getting our plane tickets for our next trip soon and I'm going to try to get a hike or two in down there while we are there. Plus there are a few places I'd like to go see while I'm there and I'm hoping there will be time to fit it all in..

Day Off

We're just trying to relax after a busy day of work yesterday.

Today we have off but we have a soccer game this evening so it will be a late night.

 I work tomorrow and the next day, while DH has tomorrow off but is back to work on Thursday..

We have soccer this entire weekend so it will be a busy week end for all of us..

Zoo

It was a beautiful but cool day yesterday and we went to the Washington Park Zoo, it is such a beautiful zoo, we had alot of fun and hopefully plan to go back again one day as some of the animals were alittle shy yesterday.

Off to work today though and it's supposed to be very nice then cool way, way down for a couple of days..

Wishy Washy Weather

Totally Wishy Washy Weather... That is what describes where we live..

Today was an unexpected on call day so I'm going to try to get some housework done. I have asked someone to come over to see how much it will cost to redo our kitchen and I'm not sure when that will happen. I know we'll need at least some new cabinets, new flooring and some re plumbing done, I'd like a new dishwasher also but it will depend on the cost..

With soccer going on we have very little time to do much of anything and although I'm hoping to get in some hiking I'm not sure it will happen as we have soccer, Thanksgiving, Christmas which we are leaving town for and due to the absolutely fabulous weather "NOT" we have here in the winter we might be able to get some running in the rain time and that's about it.

Thank goodness DS is getting older it does make it easier to do things if he doesn't want to come, his brothers can watch him..

Beautiful Weather and OT

Great day today although I worked Over time and didn't get to enjoy the whole day, I did work 6 hours and with soccer tonight I'll get to enjoy the sun then.

Back to work again, and of course the sun is going to shine today!! It's supposed to be very nice until the end of the month I sure hope the weather man is correct although due to soccer and work, we don't have much time to do anything else.

We did decide to hike this weekend after DS soccer game if the weather was decent so we'll see what happens. I'm sure it will just be local because I'm sure after playing soccer DS will NOT want to come with us, which is fine by me, since he needs a break..

DS-Y has soccer all this weekend so we can't do a thing until this is done in mid November and by then the weather will be horrible I'm sure so for now between soccer and work we'll be stuck close to home and there will be no traveling for us...

I was put on call yesterday so I did a small amount of catch up on my to do list.

Working

Well it's another work day and hopefully it won't be nearly as busy today as it was yesterday..

I'm looking forward to a day off but then it's back to work for one day and another round of soccer this weekend...

I redid my whole large to do list even including all the house stuff I'd like to get done in the hopes we can get motivated to have some estimates done on the few things we want done that will require a contractor..

I did remind a friend if she went out of town to someplace warm this year I wanted to go as by then I'll need the warm sunshine..

Today it's back to work for me..

I didn't get everything done on my to do list but I'm glad I did get what I did get done..

With Fall fast.. read very fast approaching I'm hoping to get some winter activities lined up, and although I'm not liking the colder weather I'm glad for fall, I love cool crisp nights.

Dh did tell me when I'm tired of the winter weather maybe we can take a drive down to CA where usually it's a tad more sunny..

Busy, Busy

Well, we've been exceptionally busy what with Labor Day and Coming back from Texas, the start of school and of course Soccer has now started and boy almost every day in Sept and Oct are booked!!

It looks like we won't get much hiking done in the fall because of all the stuff we have going on so we'll just have to wait and see how the winter plays out.

DH goes back to work on Friday and I of course go back to work on Sunday from then on we will all be busy little bees around here.

Thursday

Today I have to go get some Hamburger we ordered and since it's 40lbs I'll be dividing it up and repacking it as soon as I get home.

I'm trying to decide if I want to go grocery shopping today since I'll be out and about it might save me some time and money if I go to the big town to get my shopping done. We'll see :-)

Wednesday To Do

I did very little yesterday except for Meet the teacher day.

I did spend some of it at a friends garden and got a few things to tide me over until I go grocery shopping this weekend..

All in all my house has stayed clean for more then one day, I got alot done on my to do list, it's supposed to be nice the next 10 days and although school is starting next week I'm going to try to fit in some time with the hubby while DS is at school.

And get my to do list finished which I don't think will take long with the two of us doing it.

Then it's back to work until my next vacation which will be over Christmas and new years!!

To do list

I was able to get alot done on my to do list today, I'm very happy although I still have stuff to do DH has told me I can wait until he gets back to work on some of the stuff together.

Tomorrow is a dental appointment for DS-M and then meet the teacher for my youngest son and the rest of the day is mine although I'll probably work on my to do list since the weather is supposed to be cloudy and cool tomorrow.

Last Night

Last night at 2:15 am my DH decides to text me a picture of his new tattoo he got while on vacation, and while I don't mind tattoos, yes I do have one, It was surprisingly large taking up his whole arm from shoulder to elbow which in it's own surprised me since he doesn't like people to look at his arms.

I'm looking forward to seeing it in real life...

Can't wait for Sunday..

Oh, and why doesn't he like people to look at his arms, well he's a big guy and has big arms..

Yesterday

Yesterday I took DS-O and grandson home and now I'm all alone. So did cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more, then relaxed..

Today I take DS to the dentist and then I'm going to come home and make some soap and finish the laundry so I can get it all put away.

I seem to have lost my to do list, which I don't think I lost I think grandson used it to color on and DS threw it away but trying to redo that list has been hard since I've been working on it for about 3 weeks. Sure hope I don't forget something important on it..

On the down side I seem to have a slight headache today, couldn't be that it decided to rain last night and I'm guessing our month of summer if over now :(

Me, Myself and I

Yesterday I did something completely out of my ordinary...

I went to have a mani-pedi something I have never, ever done in all my years and wow what have I been missing it was so much fun I might even do it again.

Today I take DS and Grandson home, then I relax, and then I clean like there is no tomorrow coming..

It's so messy, I'm not sure where to start honestly, but I guess one room at a time..

One thing done

Well I only completed one thing on my to do list the past two days, it's impossible to do anything with grandson here.

Yesterday he poured my optiphen.. that's a preservative by the way.. all over himself and the floor I don't think he drank any but I let DS know how upset I was since he was playing a video game and not watching him and I was upstairs finishing that one thing I did get done on my to do list...

I'm going to try to get some little things done but honestly it's more messy now then before DH left for Texas. I think I'll just wait to do some things until they leave on Sunday..

My life will be easier if I wait..believe me :)

Very Little Wednesday

Wednesday I really didn't do much, took DH and DS-Y to the airport, drove home and went to bed until 9:45 since we got there late last night, I didn't sleep good and got up very early for the flight and then drove 2 hours to get home I felt I deserved some sleep :-)

I did get some sewing done and started a project on my to do list, but it's hard with grandson here since I wanted to play with him and he is a busy boy.

Update on to do list

Well I have done 4 very rough things on my to do list already with the help of DH we blasted it out fairly quickly.

Today I'm going to try to work on some more before we have to leave tonight. DS-O and Grandson will be here to take care of the dogs, cat and chickens while I'm gone taking the to the airport. Then I'll work on some more as a more leisurely pace since DS and grandson will be here until Monday.

I never realised I had so much laundry to do I think I did 7 loads of laundry yesterday and I'm not done yet I still have 2 more loads to go, wow where did it all come from?

I still need to find someone I can borrow a truck from so I can go to the dump I have tons of stuff that need to go but no way to get it there..

I'm in Heaven!

Today I was HC'd which basically means I don't have to go to work and although I don't get paid for it, it means I start my vacation a day early :-)

Oh My the things I get to do today... I'm beside myself with happiness.......

Like clean out the refrigerator, which by the way I have already done this morning.

Do a load of laundry and put it in the dryer, which I have already done this morning.

Get my DH and Son to pack there suitcases, which I have NOT done yet and had better figure out
what they are taking.

Off to work

Today is my second to last day before vacation starts and 4 days before DH leaves for Texas, I'm very happy to only have two days left but sad I only have 4 days left before they leave.

While I'm off at work DH is taking the boys to the fair and by boys I mean DS-Y and his friend from school. I sure hope they all have a great time and wish I could go but no luck getting off today.

I have made my BIG to do list for while they are gone and by big I mean alot on it and grand plans I sure hope I can get all of them done as some are way over due. I'll probably start some tonight and tomorrow night after work so I have less to do since I'll only have Tuesday with them alone.

Work & Saturday Plans

Well I did get to work 4 hours yesterday which is good since it was double time..

Today we are driving to Portland to go to the farmers market and the salt water fish store...

No Overtime today so far.

Well I was put on call today, which I knew most likely would happen since it was an overtime day, I can still hope to be called in but with it being close to 100 today I'm not sure that will happen :(

On the plus side I'm going to try to get some decluttering done while DH is gone on vacation, I think I'll start upstairs since it won't be 100 by then and I won't roast to death in the attic space.

I'm also going to bomb the upstairs while he is gone and go through his clothing since I know there is alot he can't wear and he refuses to part with anything..

I also plan to go through the refrigerator and freezer, clean them both out completely and wash the insides and pull it from the wall and vacuum the underneath.

I'm hoping I can do most of this in one or two days since I don't want to use up my whole vacation cleaning.

Oh and while I'm trying to do that, DS-O and Grandson will be here for a few days, and DS-M lost his timing belt on his car the other day and I'm sure his father won't help him do a darn thing with it.

Paycheck & Stuff

I was lucky and got to stay on call all day yesterday so although I was paid a piddly amount it was great to be off.

Today we get paid and WOW is all I can say I worked time and half & a double time day and my check was very, very nice which is good since DS-M called me yesterday to say his car just lost it's timing belt and DH & DS-Y are going to Texas so we'll have a little bit of extra after all that I'm hoping..

I have to go down to the fabric shop and look at fabric for my quilt I'm making and I hope to do that today.. also today is the picnic for work and since it's free food I'm going..

On Call

I was blessed with On Call today, which means unless they call me I don't have to go into work.. Thank you god, I really wanted today off to go to DS soccer practice. I don't get paid much to be on call but it's worth it sometimes just to have an extra day off.

If, that is IF, I don't get called in I'm going to try to get all my housework done before soccer since it's supposed to be hotter then hades here today.

Anyone know how hot hades is?

Anyhoo if I can get it done I don't have to do anymore laundry until Tuesday.

And DH & DS-Y leave on Wednesday and Grandson and DS-O will be here Tuesday to spend some time with me while they are gone, I'm looking forward to that.

Off to work

So it's off to work again today, although it's exactly one week until vacation and I'm getting excited for it to come.

DH only has tonight left to work then he is off until September, he told me last night Wednesday he is going to start packing for there trip which is good since I work today,tomorrow, Friday, Sunday and Monday and we do want to spend some time together before they leave.. At the moment that day looks like Saturday.

I really did do nothing yesterday but sewed, took a bath, took DS to soccer practice and cooked dinner. Oh, and one load of laundry.

Monday

I am so glad for a day off, I was soo tired and actually slept in until almost 8am which is very unusual for me. But DH did all the rest of the housework so I had nothing to do today but enjoy the sun and relax.

It's back to work for two days starting tomorrow and only 8 more days until vacation starts, Can you tell I'm looking forward to it?

Because DH and DS are going to Texas we won't get to go to any of the places we wanted to go while on vacation but it's a sacrifice we are willing to make as his father is ill and we wanted them to visit now for sure besides going at Christmas this year.

We'll do our bucket list at a later date and we're both okay with that...

Last Work Day

Today is my last work day since I have tomorrow off and can't wait.. I've made sure just about everything has been done so I can relax and enjoy the day off and best of all it's supposed to be 88 degrees!!

6 more days of working until vacation, 10 days total until vacation starts I am so excited even though I only get one day with my family before they leave for Texas I'm excited to be off for two weeks and do nothing but make soap, work on my quilt (I'm just learning to sew), and read, read, read...

Working Again

So... today is day two out of three of working since I did work my OT shift yesterday... I at least got a load of laundry done and folded and this morning I started on the last load, I guess I'll put them in the dryer when I get home from work tonight and that will only leave the dishes and I'll be caught up on housework and since I only have Monday off I don't want to spend all day doing housework..

Only 7 more days of work until vacation I can't wait to sleep in until 6-7am :-)  and yes that is sleeping in for me..

I worked my whole 12 hour shift today which equals out to >1,100 pre taxes taken out and since I had also worked a time and a half shift I think tomorrow I'll change my deductions to 99 so I get most of my money from this extra time. I'll be happy to have this come payday next Friday since we start vacation the next Tuesday...

Well it looks like I'm working double time today and I couldn't be happier since DH and DS-10 have to fly to Texas it will give them some spending money. I hate to see them go but I really feel they need to go now..

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Well it's official DH and DS-10 need to fly to Texas, DH father had been diagnosed with Cancer and after they did surgery last week they found it had spread all throughout his intestines. I do believe he is going to do Chemo but I want DS to see his grandfather looking healthy and happy. They leave in 2 weeks and will be gone for 11 days. I am not going yet as I want to save up my vacation time for when we all need to make a quick trip down there and at this time I have very little vacation time left.

Big To Do List !

I have such a big to do list today, and honestly all I want to do is lay in the bathtub and read. So......

1. I'll do laundry
2. I'll do dishes
3. When I have enough hot water again :-) I'll take a bath...
4. Then I'll tackle the other stuff on my list like locate my kitchen counters, dining room table, and put away said laundry and dishes. If I have the time that is....

Since I work the next three days with tomorrow being an OT day (so we'll see if I actually have to work) I really want to make sure I get as much done as possible..

Oh and DH works the next 6 nights in a row, so I know he won't be of much help from today on...

The worst part is I've done something to my back at work and now I'm going to have to go see a doctor which I really dislike doing... So wish me luck..

Another work day for me

So this is another work day for me, I'll have a boatload of laundry, dishes and housework to do tomorrow since I'm also scheduled an OT day on Friday and work the whole weekend, but honestly I'm just looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning. I'll do my usual and start a load of laundry tonight after I get off work and that will only leave one load tomorrow.

I do have to attend a party after work tonight which I usually don't do since I'm always so tired but it's for a work friend and I want to buy one thing which I think we will use alot on our trips out of town..

Although as the summer winds down it's looking like we aren't going to have anymore summer here so I guess we'll have to move onto the winter activities that we want to do and I'll have to post more about that later.

Working

Today I was put on call and then called back in to work which means I get overtime for the whole time I'm at work, which in my book is good because most likely I'll get called off tomorrow and today can make up some of that..

I most likely won't be working on Friday because it's an overtime day which really is fine by me because although I'd love the extra money I rarely ever do overtime and don't like to go into work on my days off..But we'll see what happens between now and Friday which where I work can be alot...

Clothes Shopping

Today we are going to go clothes shopping for school stuff for DS-10.. we went thru every item of clothing he has yesterday and tossed a boatload, and I do mean a boatload of stuff that was stained or just plain didn't fit, we are tossing the stained stuff and giving away the stuff that doesn't fit to a friend.

The best part I did the same thing, so now it's time for me to go shopping also...Did I mention I hate, hate, hate to go clothes shopping especially for myself....

Sunday

Sunday we lounged around the house until 12:00 then we went to see Total Recall.. It was good not sure If I would say as good as the first one but it was okay...

We did major laundry and put most of it away...Hint. Hint DH get moving :-)

Now it's back to work Tuesday for me and I'm really booked at work for the next 2 weeks I work 10 out of the 14 days and they are all 12 hour shifts.. Oh well vacation starts soon anyway.

Seattle

We spent a wonderful day wandering around Seattle's Waterfront and going to the aquarium, the weather was fabulous, the food was just as good... We ate at Ivar's and the ice cream and root beer floats were a perfect end to a perfect day...  It wasn't a bucket list item but I'm glad we went and had a great day...

Suns O U T!!

Going to finally get a hot day tomorrow, we have plans to go out of town but work called and I may get some OT tomorrow, which in my books means double time !! I told them either I work or I don't because if I don't we are headed out of town and if I do BONUS....

I rarely do OT but since we have vacay coming up I wouldn't mind some money to spend during that time, even though we don't have much planned any extra can't hurt.....

So although it's supposed to be 93 tomorrow I could possibly we working in an air conditioned building making extra money... we won't see until tomorrow morning at 4am...

Long to do list

We have a long to do list today, since I wasn't able to finish the housework on Monday, DH loaded the dishwasher so that helped, I think we only have to dust, sweep, mop and finish the laundry....YEA!

We have a birthday party to go to today, and DH has a dentist appointment both at 2 so he will be missing the party but since it's for a 5 year old I doubt he will mind much..

Weather is again supposed to be cloudy but no rain in sight or so they say...Here's to hoping no rain:-)

5 days off work to enjoy! Look out nice weather here we come!!!!  :-)

Work Day

With today being a work day I'll have to do the rest of my house work tomorrow unless that is my DH decides he will do some today while I'm at work, Since he worked last night I'm doubting he will be awake enough to do much. DS-youngest is going to a friends house today and DS-18 still has not heard from any of his job applications yet.

It's supposed to be very nice this weekend I'm hoping for a trip someplace to enjoy the weather, family time and get some of our bucket list worked on.

Sick

Instead of getting my list done, I ended up with a horrible migraine that kept me from work today. So although I got some of it done pre-headache I'll still have some to do Thursday morning that is IF I can ever get rid of this headache.

Dentist, Housework and only one day off

Going to be a full, full day today, since I only have one day off, it goes like this...

Oldest son dentist appointment, He doesn't drive, but that's another story..

Laundry.. since I only have today off I do need something to wear to work tomorrow..

Housework... since I just worked two days in a row twelve hours a day, I usually come home to a sink full of dishes, laundry all over and a smelly house...... (don't ask I have no idea!)

So I'll put laundry in the washer, dishes in the dishwasher, take the DS to the dentist, come back empty the respective machines, start one again after putting the clothes in the dryer... since again the sun has decided to hide behind massive clouds, empty the litter box, take out the garbage since tomorrow is garbage day, feed my chickens, dogs and cat, cook lunch and dinner......

Shower!!!

And somewhere in there I'm going to try to relax before working the next two days... I'm sure I'll just be able to find the time don't you???

Another Work Day

Working today, But looking forward to having tomorrow off and it looks like the weather is going to get nicer as we get into the week, we have big plans again next weekend and I'm really looking forward to them.

On another note Vacation is coming up next month, we have no solid plans at the moment but we'll see what the wind brings.....

As Usual

Well as usual in this lovely state the sun will not be out today but its will still be 70 at least. Today my youngest DS has his well child checkup, and believe me I'm sure most of you will be hearing him yell when he has to get a shot as he absolutely

But on another front they are saying that it will be nice again after this weekend which is good for me since I work this weekend as does DH.

I'm going to make DS-18 call the place he applied at today and ask about the job he applied for since it's been a week now.

No wandering for us this weekend :(

Sun is Finally Coming Out!

Well the sun is finally starting to peek through the clouds here and hopefully it will get up to 79 degrees like they tell us it will, I'd love to take a bike ride and maybe a trip to the pool.

I'm taking up a new hobby besides working full time,cleaning, soap making, mom,wife and all around CFO of the family, I've decided to try quilt making and bought a few things today to get started.

Can't wait!!

I do take pictures but unfortunately I let the battery die on my DSLR and will have to wait to take some more..

Another work day for me, my dear hubby has had the last two days off, lucky him. No word on the job front for ds-18 yet.

So today is a work day so no adventures for us today. Here's hoping ds-18 gets the job he applied for, I know he will be happy when he can finally get a permanent job, it's too bad our job status here is horrible so finding a job is very, very hard.

The first of many

Today is the first of many posts I hope to make about our family and it's desire to visit many places. I have 3 boys 24,18 and 10 with only the 10 year old living permanently at home right now, although the 18 year old is living with us at the moment. We love to travel and I have made a bucket list of local places we want to visit either this year or next year.
